Corvinus DSG Symposium 2024, "Supply Chain Law: Minimum Standards in Supply Chains"
Event information
Programme information
Keynote from 3.30 pm: Professor Karsten Kieckhäfer, University of Hagen on the topic “Supply Chain Act: Minimum standards in supply chains”. The keynote speech will be followed by a panel discussion with invited experts from around 4.00 pm.
The supply chain law, which has been planned and fiercely debated for two years, is intended to oblige European manufacturers to respect human rights and the environment, among other things, during the entire manufacturing phase of their products. These regulations already apply to Germany, but not yet to the entire EU. Will the Supply Chain Act strengthen or weaken the German and Hungarian economy and competitiveness? What are the experiences from Germany? Will companies have to rethink their entire supply chains in the future? How can companies prepare for these new regulations? We would like to discuss all these questions on the basis of scientific expertise as well as from a business perspective in order to better understand the reasons and possible effects.
Afterwards, we invite our guests to network at the buffet. At the end of the event, the DSG Club and the DSG alumni will organise a networking meeting with an exchange of experiences.
The presentation and the panel discussion will be held in German. All interested parties are cordially invited to this event!
Pre-registration is requested by 5 April.
